Hadid is the sewing pattern that reinvents joggers in a tailored, twisted, and elegant version. Inspired by the iconic Adidas joggers, Hadid turns the three signature stripes into delicate religious folds, a subtle nod to sportswear transformed into a timeless fashion piece.

Its topstitched elasticated waistband guarantees absolute comfort, while the semi-fitted cut flatters every silhouette. The discreet pockets are cleverly hidden in the seam of the third fold to preserve clean lines. You can choose either a zip or snap closure at the hem, allowing the pant leg to open over the shoe for a look that is both chic and relaxed.

Hadid checks all the boxes for comfortable joggers, while offering a sophisticated look thanks to its woven construction. The pattern is offered as pants, but also in shorts and bermuda shorts versions to suit every season and all your sewing wishes.

Two rise heights depending on the range are available: a semi-low rise just below the navel for range 1, and a high rise at the navel for range 2, to suit your body shape.

FABRICS:

• Versions 1 and 2: For the pants versions, choose a woven fabric of 190 to 220 g/m², with a little fluidity and drape. A twill-woven tencel or crepe, or a linen/tencel blend, is preferred. The prototypes shown on the site are made in a Tencel twill.
• Versions 3 and 4: For the bermuda/shorts version, you can opt for a crisper fabric such as linen, cotton poplin, or raw silk, but a Tencel twill will work perfectly too. It is also possible to use a non-stretch woven fabric designed for men's swim shorts (water-repellent microfiber).
• Note that the drier the fabric and the less drape it has, the more the garment will tend to have volume and sit away from the leg.
• The prototypes in the photos are made in linen, dupioni silk, and Tencel twill.
• All versions: patterned/striped fabrics are not recommended if you want to showcase the pleats.

FABRIC REQUIREMENT on 150 cm wide fabric:

• V1 and V2 Range 1 (32-48) 235 cm
• V1 and V2 Range 2 (48 - 64) 245 cm
• V3 Range 1 (32 - 48): 150 cm
• V3 Range 2 (48 - 64): 180 cm
• V4 Range 1 (32 - 48): 130 cm
• V4 Range 2 (48 - 64): 150 cm

MATERIALS:

• All versions:  A 4 cm wide flat elastic, cut to the length of your waist measurement: low rise (below the navel) for range 1, semi-high rise (navel) for range 2.
• Version 1: Two invisible zippers, 16 cm (or 18 cm), matching your fabric.
• Version 2 (snaps on the leg): Four strips of very lightweight fusible interfacing (90 × 2.5 cm). 14 to 20 metal snaps, 12 mm in diameter (depending on the length of your leg).
