The VEGA bag is a versatile bag that you can use as a tote bag, shoulder bag, or backpack. Fully lined, it has two zippered pockets inside, two open pockets, a key loop, a large exterior pocket, and two exterior side pockets (for a bottle or a small umbrella).

If you are using cotton canvas or twill, we recommend interfacing with Pellon TP971F.
If you are using waxed canvas, you do not need to interface.
For the hardware, feel free to repurpose pieces from an old bag or a bag found in a thrift store. For a quicker project, choose sold-by-the-meter trim for the handles, straps, and connectors.
