This cotton seersucker is a lightweight, breathable and textured fabric, easily recognized by its slightly puckered surface. Its texture helps keep the fabric from clinging to the skin, making it an excellent choice for summer garments and projects where comfort and breathability are important.
At 125 g/m², it remains soft and airy while still offering enough body for a variety of garments.
Allow for shrinkage of up to 3%.
Air drying is recommended.
Iron at low temperature if needed, taking care not to flatten the textured surface too much.
Sewing tip: use a fine universal needle, such as size 70/10 or 80/12. Avoid stretching or pulling the fabric during cutting and sewing to help preserve its puckered texture.
