SCHMETZ Chrome Professional Grade is the perfect sewing partner. Chrome resists heat and wear. The chrome will stay cool longer with less stitch distortion and helps the thread pass through the needle eye with less friction and less heat buildup. The chrome also allows the needle to pass through the fabric with less resistance. Ideal for cotton knits, interlock, rib knits, fleece, double knits and sews most knit fabrics. The tip is more rounded than the universal needle and is designed to separate the fibers of the fabric without cutting them, preventing the knitted fabric from flaking or running after the seam. Generally, yarns such as polyester or polyester/cotton blends are best. Again, the finer the needle, the finer the thread to be used.
